I purchased these new from Standard and Strange. I have never owned any leather products in waxed flesh but they looked interesting and the low maintenance I heard about was another selling point. So, looking around and lusting over various brands and lasts for a few weeks I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of Viberg in waxed flesh. I recently discovered the engineer boot and was instantly intrigued in what I can only describe as a more versatile cowboy boot. I wore cowboy boots for years and more recently various Chelsea/Wellington boots. So, I’m a big fan of pull-on footwear have been for years.
